Casa Parsons is set in a spectacular hillside location with stunning panoramic sea views and is close to levada walks, coastal trails and hill villages. Also convenient for the Airport and Funchal, Casa Parsons is the ideal base from which to explore Madeira.

We are a private family owned and run Bed & Breakfast and have just two spacious and comfortable guest rooms available. With a warm and friendly welcome we invite you to enjoy your holiday in the relaxed and informal atmosphere of Casa Parsons. We also cater for your special dietary needs including Vegetarian and Gluten free diets etc.

 

The spacious and sunny terraced areas surrounding our Casa offer you the perfect viewpoint to take advantage of the spectacular views. By day you can relax in the comfortable seating areas and watch the dazzling sunrise, fishing boats, yachts and cruise ships sailing by.

By night this can be followed by an equally brilliant full moon rise, all accompanied with a glass of fine Madeira wine. You may also be lucky enough to see the schools of dolphins and even whales as they pass by.

We are located in the village of Gaula, near to Santa Cruz, situated some 200 metres above the sea and 1 Km from the coast line, with magnificent panoramic sea views stretching from the east (Ponta de Sao Lourenco) sweeping towards the south (Ilha Desertas) and then westwards towards Canico.

Our village square with the local Church, cafes and bars are all less than a 10 minute (initially uphill) walk away. Our three nearest restaurants, mini market, pastelaria (patisserie) and many more cafes and bars, together with the main bus stop, are all within a 15 minute walk downhill, via veredas (steps).

Whilst a hire car is recommended (we will send you a road location map and directions to Casa Parsons), we also offer a free airport collection service should you choose not to drive.In addition, we can provide you with a local mobile 'phone for emergency use.

Our two spacious guest rooms have en-suite shower rooms, double beds and seating areas with Sea and Garden views.

The rooms are situated on the ground floor and have direct level access to the communal lounge and dining area.

This comfortable and airy room in turn opens directly out onto the front terraces (stunning sea views) and again gives level access to the garden, side terraces and seating areas.
